Sigpics
If you will be making your own sigpic
1) We ask that you please make it no bigger than 350px X 130px.
2) Make it, a jpg file instead of an animated gif file.
*If you don't know how to make one yourself, please email Karin*
Send her your favourite Chayanne picture(s), tell her what you would
like for her to use in the background and she will do the rest.
We ask you to use your sigpics
(created by Karin) for a reasonable length
of time, because making new ones is very time consuming.
To Add Your Sigpic to the EZboard Control Center
To use a sigpic on our Casa Message Board (or any
other message
boards), you will need to use a photo hosting company.
If you aren't
registered with one, please sign up for one.
We recommend Photobucket
It's a good site, and it's free.
Once your sigpic has been uploaded/saved, it will get its own (unique web
address) - called an URL.
This URL has to be used to add your sigpic into your EZ Board Control
Center.
Instructions
1) Go to the Casa Chayanne's message board and log in.
2) After logging in, go to "Control", then select "Account Preferences".
You will see a box entitled "Use Custom Signature". Put a check mark in
that box.
* Your sigpic's URL (it's unique web address) will be sent to you,
if Karin has created your sigpic and is hosting it for you.. If you have your
own
photo hosting company, then she will just send the sigpic to you.
3) Type (or copy and paste) this URL in the box under "Use Custom
Signature".
The URL has to be keyed in exactly as you see it, with no added spaces (If
in
all capital letters, use all capital letters, if a mixture of capital letters
and lower case letters, key it in, exactly or if in all lower case letters,
use all lower case letters.)
The text in the box should be keyed in like this:
[image noborder]xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx[/image]
Where you see the "xxxxxx" type in your URL
Please use the square brackets; the beginning bracket [
(located next to the "P" key on most keyboards)
at the end,
use the end bracket ] instead of the round ones like this ( ).
4) Then click "Save Changes" and the picture will display automatically
whenever you post a message on our site.
You can test to see if your sigpic is showing (or for anything else).
Go to
our message board and post a message.
Put a checkmark in the box entitled "Preview", then select "Add Post".
(at this point, you get a chance to see if your post looks the way you want).
Is your sigpic showing? Does your post look the way you want? Are the words spelled correctly?
If it is, click "Add Post". If your signature isn't showing and you're sure
you've made no mistakes, be aware that EZboard doesn't always update
immediately.
If you find a mistake, go back and carefully re-enter the URL.

If you experience problems after reading these instructions,
trying to add your sigpics via the EZboard Control Center.
Karin is willing to help you with that as well.
To do this, she will need to know the login name and password
you're using to log in to the Casa Message Board. It's the only way,
She can add everything (sigpic, flag, etc.) to EZboard for you.
Of course, she will never use your password again.
She has done this, many times for many others.
How to Add Personal Icons/Country Flags
1) Go to the Casa Chayanne message board, and log in.
2) Click on "Control" at the top, left side of the board.
3) Select "Account Preferences"
4) Go to the middle of the page, just above "Use Custom Signature",
you will see "Use Personal Icon URL:".
Place a check mark in the box.
5) Enter the URL for your country's flag (you will find many country flags
below) in the box below
